The Chicago O’Hare UFO incident is the kind of stories that I find compelling!
- A Pulitzer Prize reporter of the Chicago Tribune Broke the story.
- The FAA and United Airlines both officially stonewalled the release of information, but then later admitted that a large number of employees were making reports when confronted with radio transcripts pulled from FOIA documents.
- Professional pilots, management, ground personnel, mechanics, and passengers all reported seeing the same event.
- Recordings and transcripts of pilots and ground crew reporting the event to the FAA exist. These government documents were pulled via the Freedom of Information Act.
- Have you ever been to the C gates at O’Hare? The terminal is enormous; potentially thousands of observers. Visibility of the surrounding area is also very good. The event occurred for at least 2 minutes.
- Atmospheric scientists say that as a weather phenomenon the hole in the layer of stratus clouds was possible, however the current weather conditions were nowhere near conducive to that type of formation. It would take concentrated extreme heat for visible moisture to just disappear as described in the accounts.
- People both inside and outside the airport witnessed the event.
- A good photograph is available. Google 2006 Chicago O’Hare UFO. Many photos are assumed to have been taken, however all employees were forbade from releasing any information including images. As a former United Airline employee I know that every employee signs a non-disclosure statement at the beginning of employment. I could have been terminated for making any statement no matter how innocuous. Remember good photographic evidence is not necessary when you have credible eyewitness testimony. How do you think murder suspects get convicted?
Cell phones with cameras were available as early as 2001. However, in 2006 cellphone cameras were nowhere near as good of quality, or as ubiquitous as they are today.
The Chicago Tribune reported that many firsthand witnesses were angry that the FAA refused any official acknowledgment, or action to investigate. Somebody is lying! Guess its up to you who to believe.
ABSENCE OF EVIDENCE IS NOT EVIDENCE OF ABSENCE.
I LOVE THIS STUFF!
